Martha C. Hougen, Ph.D.
Dr. Hougen's recent work has focused on improving preservice teacher education by providing university teacher educators with ongoing professional development. She has received multiple awards for her contributions including the National Educator of the Year in 2007.
Susan M. Smartt, Ph.D.
Dr. Smartt is experienced in reading intervention for low-performing schools and is recognized for her work in developing response to intervention initiatives.
