**Angèle Sancho Passe** is a consultant and writer in early childhood education with more than 30 years of experience. She is the author of _Is Everybody Ready for Kindergarten? A Tool Kit for Preparing Children and Families,_ published by Redleaf Press in 2010. Her next book is _Teaching Dual Language Learners_ (in press, 2012). She has also written _My Kindergarten Book_, an interactive book for parents and children.

Ms. Passe holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood studies, a master’s degree in family education, and a certificate in human resource development from the University of Minnesota. She is past president of the Minnesota Association for the Education of Young Children, a candidate for the governing board of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and the 2012 Evelyn House award.
